Pupils at Coatbridge High receive one lesson of Personal, Social and Health Education each week. Many topics are covered, and offer a platform to help pupils build their self-esteem and confidence, and understand their feelings and emotions. During lessons, pupils learn about topics that will help them develop as confident individuals and prepare them for life in the future. Pupil Support Teachers Pupil Support Mentors also use these periods to check attendance and monitor pupil progress across the curriculum with all pupils.
