School Show 2017

Fabulous, Fantastic, Outstanding, Spectacular!

School Show 2017 culminated in three incredible performances of 'Beauty & The Beast' which quite literally astounded everyone who came along to watch:

'I have never seen a school show of such high quality',
'That show is better than some that I have seen at the Kings Theatre',
'You should be very proud of your pupils'

The plaudits and praise just kept flowing with standing ovations for each of the three performances. If you were there yourself you will know that the above three examples of the many compliments we all received on behalf of the school show cast and crew certainly rang true. They were simply superb.

Of course this all doesn't happen by accident and I would like to thank all of the staff who helped in any way in order to produce our fantastic show. In particular my thanks go to Rob Stewart, director, and Megan Love, assistant director, for tirelessly lending their many talents to the direction of this amazing show show; to Kenny McMahon, musical director and Elaine Fernie, assistant musical director, for effortlessly bringing the show's beautiful score to life; to Megan Duncan and Denise Gilmour for their choreography; to Campbell Brown for his stage management; to Aileen Hart, Kirsty Morton, Gillian Carnegy, Margaret Anderson, Karen Cooney, Celia Dick, Laura Thomson, Mary Costello, Catherine Reid, Hazel McLaughlin, Margaret Granville and Kirsty McLean for the fabulous costumes and set; to Andy Campbell, Aidan Mennie and the Tech department for set; to the staff who came along and helped on the night with hair and make up, front of house and tuck shop duties; to the office staff for their unrelenting support and work in all areas of the show, special mention to Patricia, Elaine & Maureen for their stunning work on the Conference room turning this room into an amazing Gothic castle complete with cutlery chandelier; the musical instructors who lent their support and considerable musical talents to our show band and to the janitorial staff for all of their help along the way. Finally, to all of the staff of the school, this production would not have been the huge success that it was without your support. It is very much apprectaited.
